I have two 64 bit intel Linux computers, both of them running BOINC. One of them is not on very often, but the other is serverish. The one that isn't on too often has no trouble getting work from malariacontrol, but the server one has been getting "no work available" for some time. I run with Seti as well, but sometimes the Seti server has no work and I'd like to keep processing malariacontrol when this happens. This used to work (about a month ago) and I was waiting to see if it would clear up. I tried disconnecting from the project and reconnecting to no avail. The boinc messages are:

Mon 04 Jul 2011 04:44:35 PM EDT malariacontrol.net Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.
Mon 04 Jul 2011 04:44:35 PM EDT malariacontrol.net Requesting new tasks

Sorry, I had to break up the Code section to get the Red to display correctly.
Notice there are some empty messages. They show up in RED in the boinc manager.

Thanks,

It looks like you don't have "Run openMalaria A application" or "Run openMalaria B application" selected in your project preferences for the venue used for that system.

Thanks for the quick reply. I hoped you were correct, but I just checked my profile and these are what it shows:

Resource share
Determines the proportion of your computer's resources allocated to this project. Example: if you participate in two BOINC projects with resource shares of 100 and 200, the first will get 1/3 of your resources and the second will get 2/3. 101
Use CPU
Enforced by version 6.10+ yes
Run test applications?
This helps us develop applications, but may cause jobs to fail on your computer no
Is it OK for malariacontrol.net and your team (if any) to email you?
Emails will be sent from ; make sure your spam filter accepts this address. yes
Should malariacontrol.net show your computers on its web site? yes
Default computer location home
Run malariacontrol simulation application Yes
Run openMalaria test application No
Run map predictor application Yes
Run optimizer application Yes
Run openMalaria A application Yes
Run openMalaria B application Yes

I just changed the resource share from 100 to 101 in order to force a save, but when I forced a boinc update, I received the same log messages as my initial post. Also, I do not have any "separate preferences". My other Linux machine is happily chugging away on them.

Maybe there is not enough disk space left.

That is what did happen to me on one of my Windows Systems and I was wondering why it did not fetch any new work. Whereas other projects do work fine.
