Previously I was using BOINC with the climate net and I have an account for that. Now to work with malaria net I had to open a new account.

Can I combine the two accounts under one account?

In particular I would like the credits to be combined under BOINC stats.

It is best to go back to the original account and just stop crunching under this new one, you CAN use the same account on all Boinc projects. When you sign in just use the exact same info for each project.

In your case, now, you could make a Team and put both accounts in it.

As long as you're using the same email address for both accounts and have added malariacontrol.net to a computer you are running CPDN on the projects will have the same cross-project identity (CPID). The third party statistics sites use that to link your individual projects and generate your combined statistics.

My main account is "pdebono" but now I have two seperate entries in BOINC STATS.

Both accounts use the email address and password.

Any guidance on this?

This is a question you should ask on BOINCstats, but as a suggestion read the CPID section there, that may hold your answer.

Also it can take a day or two for CPID's to get in sync, it depends on BOINCstats to read the info from the projects. It also depends on how often your computers talk to each project for the information to propagate.

Also MAKE SURE you are running all projects one each pc to start, then you can stop some of the projects on some of the pc's after Boinc Stats catches up, which may take a couple of days.

That will work.

The problem is that Climate Prediction has been off line for some time (about 10 days), is grossly underfunded and plagued with technical issues, is short of staff and has consequently rarely had any work in the last six months. Sad for a project with such laudable objectives.

The problem is now fixed - it took about 10 days for it all to get sorted automatically.

Bit disappointed with climate net being down all the time.

So Malaria Net will get most of my CPU time....

Now that it is fixed just run Malaria FIRST on every new pc and it should be okay. After it shows up in your stats then you can change to the project you really want to run on it.
