I\'ve got plenty of hardware available looking for a side project for spare cpu cycles.

Sure, my machines are older but my 12 processor Challenge L (deskside) was crushing my top-end laptop on Distributed.net OGR24.

And just one of my 32 processor (tower) Challenge XLs was grinding that top-end laptop into the dust by a factor of 10 or more just 3 years ago so it might be able to keep up still today.

All of that at a measly 250 Mhz per CPU.

MalariaControll uses a special Fortran Compiler, which is not avialable at Irix. So I think, that a Irix port would be very difficult/not posible.

At the BOINC third party site (boinc.berkeley.edu/download_other.php) are BOINC client binaries and a SETI@home application for Irix available.

I am also evaulating, if I can port some other BOINC based projects to Irix. - Are you interested in some other BOINC projects ?
