I've suggested this to BOINC itself and I think it some projects use it, but most do not.

Pages are not easy to navigate from one section to the next. For example to check messages and then your account to view results etc, you need to go to the bottom of the page and then to the main page. Too many pages even in my account end up at a dead end requiing extra click to get back to my account.

Some kind of simple quick menu would suffice having at least these three items:

Main Page | Your Account | Message Boards

These links need to appear at the bottom of every page in place of the single 'Return to malariacontrol.net main page' link.

Better yet would be some kind of menu links at the top of every page.

I made this same request at PS3GRID. See the simple changes they made. As a moderator and heavy participant in testing, it has improved speed of navigation by 1000% making it more enjoyable to participate.

All that was changed was to add at the top and bootom of each page a simple menu "home : forum : your account : top participants".

I use both top and bottom, whichever is closer, but I use those links an extreme amount.

Here it is not so easy, always going to the bottom of page and going back through the home page.

Other projects and new boinc projects, as it is now built in, have this type of navigation.
