ending errors once a day, increasing since last week. Most often "no finished file" causing a Windows error message (processus error).
May somebody help me to fix this issue or maybe is there anything to improve in this module?
Thanks

My computer:
Intel 3 GHz RAM 2 Go - Windows XP-SP3 up to date.

I don't know but you seem to be crunching the last few just fine. Do you have your settings set to leave units in memory when switching between projects?

Thanks Mickey for your answer.

I don't know where to adjust this setting. The only parameter looking like this one in Preferences would be "Leave application in memory while suspended ? " and I decided not to leave, in order to keeep available max of memory when Boinc is suspended.

Moreover, the Work Unit in my message is not alone to abort. But, quite unexpectedly opt-37 xxx tasks have had a normal end though in the previous week I stopped them due to too many ending errors.

I am now thinking to reinstall the project. Other suggestions will be welcome.

Thanks

Yes, that is the setting Mikey is talking about. It does require more memory but suspended tasks will be pushed out of physical RAM and into virtual memory if your other applications need physical RAM.

If the opt tasks continue to cause problems than you can choose to not receive them, just turn them off in your project preferences.

Dear friends,

you might be glad to know that most of my calculations errors were due to "holes" in my RAM. Since I changed my Dimms, I don't have errors anymore.

Sorry to disturb our forum with such a wrong alert!

Kindly yours,

Hey if it took this path to find and fix the problem, then it is a good thing. You are up and running fine and not thinking of leaving us and your pc is running better than ever!
